Float down the mighty Colorado River and be introduced to the awesome beauty of Glen Canyon. Join this fun, safe and exciting float through Arizona's canyon country, departing from Sedona.

Your day starts by getting acquainted with the natural and human history of Northern Arizona. As the tour travels north, you will see volcanos, the Painted Desert and the Navajo Indian Reservation en route to the base of the Glen Canyon Dam where you will board your raft. Once afloat and during the next 4 and a half hours, your river guide will introduce you to the awesome beauty of Glen Canyon as you cruise the mighty Colorado River.

A hearty picnic lunch is served midway through the journey with time for swimming or exploring ancient rock art of the ancestral puebloan people who once lived along the river. At Lee's Ferry - the historic beginning of the Grand Canyon - you will re-board the tour vehicle for the journey back to Sedona.

PLEASE NOTE: This tour is temporarily running in a modified fashion as there has been major damage to the only road to the desired location. The road is under repair, but unlikely to be completed by the end of the season. You will still experience the same enjoyable, fun-filled trip as always, but you will not have an opportunity to see the Glen Canyon Dam.

Summary:

72 HOURS MINIMUM ADVANCE BOOKING REQUIRED. Tour includes complimentary pick-up from all hotels and resorts in Sedona. Child rates apply to all children under the age of 15. Please reserve online or call 888-811-9250 for reservations or more information.

There is a $5.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation Policy:

There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Pickup Locations:

On the Order Form, you will be asked to provide your Sedona pickup location. Pickups are available at all hotels and resorts in Sedona, AZ. If you are not staying at a hotel or resort in Sedona, you must choose between the following two pickup locations and provide that choice on the Order Form.

Sedona - In front of the Best Western Arroyo Roble Hotel - 400 North Highway 89A - free parking at the Matterhorn Shops.

West Sedona - At the Super 8 Hotel - 2545 West Highway 89A - free parking at the hotel.

The Vehicles:

These tours are operated in luxurious Van Terra and Starcraft converted Ford maxivans. This enables travel on the small, scenic backroads inaccessible to larger bus tour operators. Air conditioning in every vehicle, panoramic windows, individual reclining seats and maximum group sizes of 14 passengers ensure space and comfort.
