Sedona Diamondback Gulch Jeep Tour

The small group Sedona Diamondback Gulch Jeep Tour is an exciting off-road adventure that takes you down Sedona’s most rugged trails.

Climb aboard a custom-made, open-air Jeep Wrangler tour vehicle. Your tour guide is a trained 4×4 driving specialist, so you'll be in safe hands as you head west past spectacular red rock formations to the Coconino National Forest.

Your off-road adventure takes you down a 100+ year-old section of trail which was once part of the wagon trail between Sedona and Prescott, then the capital of the Arizona Territory.

At Diamondback Gulch, a deep ravine cut into the landscape by running water, you'll be amazed by how much power the Jeep has as it crawls down one side of the gulch and out the other.

You should also wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a jacket and/or layer of clothing depending upon the time of year. Also, don’t forget to bring your camera and film/storage disc!

What is the child policy for this tour? -- For the safety of your child, the minimum tour age is 18 months. Car seats are required for all children ages 4 and under, and booster seats are required for all children ages 5 to 7 who are under 4 feet 9 inches tall. Car seats and booster seats are provided upon request. On the Order Form, you will be asked to indicate how many car seats and/or booster seats you need, or you can bring your own.

Will we have to sign a waiver? -- Yes. All participants will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to tour departure.

What happens if it rains? -- This tour operates rain or shine. Arizona has a lot of micro climates so most rainfall is short-lived. If the weather conditions are severe enough that the trip must be cancelled, you will be offered the chance to reschedule.

How many people do the vehicles hold? -- The Jeeps hold a maximum of 8 passengers plus the guide.

Can we bring our lunch and eat in the vehicle? -- No food or glass containers are allowed in the vehicles. If you have small children, you may bring a snack for them. Please keep your trash contained.

Will there be other people on the vehicle with my family? -- Tours frequently sell out and each vehicle is maximized to accommodate all customers. It is likely there will be other people on the vehicle.

Is it customary to tip the driver? -- It is customary to tip your tour guide, especially if they provided you with exceptional service. A 15% gratuity will be added to parties of 8 or more people.

Are there restrooms on the tour? -- There are restrooms located at the tour departure location. There may be some restrooms available along the tour route, but it is highly recommended that you use the restroom prior to tour departure.
